Worship: Choir or Band?

I loved singing in church choir and I was so lucky that for several years, the churches I attended had huge great choirs.  The last choir even cut a CD and I got to be a part of that and it was awesome.  But when my husband and I met, we both needed to relocate and find a new church.  We went to a few that had choirs but for this reason or that, we didn't make them our home.  So I thought perhaps, I will start one and I tried, unfortunately it was unsuccesful as was the church.  The next church said, that it didn't fit their style and so did the next but I was determined so I tried asking again and instead, I was given the opportunity to start a youth worship band.  Not quite the same thing but I know God doesn't always put you in a situation that is of your desire and so my next blogs will explain what I have learned about worhsiping God through music.
